How to Install & Use Zoom
If you have not used Zoom before you will need to install the software on your computer.
Visit the Zoom website and then follow one of these two steps:
- Download the Zoom app onto your computer
- If you already have the Zoom app loaded you can join the meeting directly
On the designated day and time of the teaching, click on “Join a Meeting” and enter Zoom Code and Password.
Please note, if this access code changes during the period of your subscription we will post the new code and password here.
Test Your Zoom connection

When testing Zoom, be sure you know how to do the following and that it works for
you:
- Mute and unmute your microphone (so we can hear you)
- Turn your video camera off and on (so we can see you)
- Turn your speaker volume up and down (so you can hear everyone else)
- Send chat messages and see incoming chat messages (participants may use chat
- for some communications)

A few important notes:
- If possible please use earbuds or headphones rather than your computer speakers. This will help to avoid feedback and other audio issues.
- If you are not actively speaking, please keep your microphone muted.

- Installation instructions on how to easily install the Zoom App on your device
- Control settings instructions including your camera, microphone, chat feature and displays to get the most out of your experience. When you join initially, your controls will typically be preset by the host so that your microphone and camera are off. You can then chose when you wish to use them.
