Sherab Chamma Ling founded in 2002 by Geshe YongDong, has been operating from a rented space in the city of Courtenay B.C.

The main purpose(s) of the centre is to preserve Bön, the native religion of Tibet and its culture; to spread Bön teachings by cultivating practitioners and scholars in the west; and, to support and sustain a Spiritual Director and visiting teachers.

In order to do this, the centre and society are dedicated to raising and/or securing funds to purchase land and/or buildings to create a Tibetan YungDrung Bön international teaching and retreat centre.

Funds are being actively pursued by way of fund-raising activities, receipt of gifts, donations, legacies and grants.

If you would like to help in creating an international teaching and retreat centre in Canada, please consider making a contribution. We are a registered non profit, tax-exempt charity administered by volunteers.
