Please join us for Sherab Chamma Ling’s spring retreat, Apr 11-13, 2025.
The five elements are a crucial part of spiritual practice within not just the Tibetan heritage, but also Chinese and Indian traditions. Each teaches how this practice impacts our health and well being, both medically and spiritually. The five elements (Space, Air/Wind, Fire, Water and Earth) are the foundation of who we are. These elements hold and support us. They can be used to rejuvenate our energy and promote longevity or if they are not balanced, they can disturb our energy.
According to Bon Buddhist tradition, the five elements practice has been used for centuries to balance ourselves and our environment. Every month ceremonies are held for each element with their own specific mantras, ceremonies, physical exercises and deities. Many indigenous peoples also perform rituals for the five elements to create harmony. Rites are also done to balance disharmony and address lack of connection to the elements both individually and collectively within the community.
Under the guidance of Geshe Yongdong, you may change your life with these methods of outer, inner and secret practices that will promote longevity and balance your health and spiritual well being.
We will be meeting in person at our Headquarter’s Rd location in Courtenay and online via Zoom.
Pricing: $180 for non-Members; $150 for Members

I’ve marked my calendar! No worries if not, but does anyone have local lodging recommendations?

This is good to know. Thank you so much!
I just looked it up. That’s so neat that it’s managed by the K’ómoks nation. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the Holiday Inn recommendation too.
