Year of Awakening

I am sending you all my blessings and holiday wishes, as well as strength to find peaceful days and nights during this challenging time.

Over the last few years, the energy and pace of the world has been changing at an unprecedented rate, with 2020 being a year like no other we have seen. Humanity has experienced some big shifts and each and every one of us has faced numerous challenges and difficulties. We will continue to face great change over the next few years and one of the best things we can do for ourselves and the world is to meditate, focus on practice and send love to those who need it the most around us.

It has also been a year of awakening and many good things have been manifesting, we are entering a time where anything is possible. Together we are creating a more peaceful world, we just have hold on for a bit longer. This situation may feel like it will last forever but it will change just like the weather, impermanence is the nature of our universe.

Remember the spiritual methods that we have learned and practiced together over the last 20 years, now is the time to use them for healing and for dealing with the difficult situations that we are facing. Over the holidays I will be reciting 5000 of each the Sherab Chamma heart mantra and the long life mantra for the benefit of all beings. If you wish you can offer mantra recitation or any special practice that is meaningful for you, to contribute to the purification and harmony of the world.

Here is a poem I have written for this time:

The storm of weather will come and go

The smiling of sun and moon

In the face of blue sky all come and go

They always show us the nature of life

If we can open our eyes to see them

Then they may go away again

Remember they will always come back

Or they may never go away

If you learn to see them within you

Thank-you for all supporting the center and myself throughout the year, I have been able to offer the teachings because of your support. Many of you know we have had to let go of our beloved center in November due to the pandemic but through this we are becoming closer to manifesting our vision for a new center.

Again, my wishes to you all for the best of health, safety, happiness and peace.
