Fall 2024 Dream Yoga & Sleep Yoga Retreat
Geshe-la is very excited to bring the ancient teachings of Dream & Sleep Yoga to his students. Taught orally for 18,000 years within the Bon tradition, this teaching is from the Magyud (Mother Tantra) text. This traditional instruction is extremely helpful in coping with the energy and environment of the modern world, as well as distractions like technology that may interfere with our practice.
Dream Yoga teaches us how to awaken within our dreams and bring the awareness that creates lucid dreams, rather than karmic dreams or nightmares. Our daily life and stress from work or relationships can be reflected in our dreams. This workshop teaches us how to avoid being lost or wandering in our dreams.
Sleep Yoga teaches us how to balance our energy which creates vitality and enhances long life. Our spiritual journey will gain more strength and stability when our sleep is balanced. The bedtime rituals taught here will improve your sleep and impact your dreams leading to deeper spiritual practice and awakening.
This essential ancient wisdom can change people’s lives. It can make a big difference in our journeys of life and death.
